I went to Tarbush for lunch with friends. The restaurant decor was cosy.
The appetizer — six peices of falafel (sorry, forgot to snap photo of this) — was reasonably good. The portion of the main dishes — maklouba lamb and Tarbush mixed grill — were big enough for three people to share. The lamb was soft and tender. The mixed gill consists of shish tawook, shish kebab, lamb cubes and grilled prawns. All are finger-licking delicious.
Baklawa is one of my favourite sweets but the baklawa at Tarbush was disappointing. I don’t recommend you order this. At first sip of the Arabic coffee, my brain screamed, “Too strong!”. The cardamon taste very strong. However, after a few more sips, my taste bud got used to the spiciness and I began to enjoy the coffee. You must definitely order the Arabic coffee.
The bill for three ladies was RM144.85 and worth every cent.
