Teh Tarik Place, Putrajaya

I went to Teh Tarik Place at Ayer@8, Putrajaya for breakfast on Deepavali morning. The mutton murtabak was a bit salty. The french toast was okay. The teh tarik was lukewarm. Service was a bit slow. I don’t know if it was because there were many customers that morning or because it’s just slow.

If you’re not in a hurry, this place is worth checking out. It has a nice view of the lake and the Steel Mosque. I plan to go again to try the lunch menu.

I went to Teh Tarik Place for lunch. I ordered mee rebus and teh tarik. Once again, the teh tarik was lukewarm. This time, I took it back to the counter and asked them to make sure it was hot, which they promptly obliged.

This time, service was quicker, probably because there weren’t as many customers. The mee rebus came in a biiig bowl. The gravy was thick and creamy. That was a tasty bowl of mee rebus. I struggled to finish everything in the bowl because of its portion.

I think the food at Teh Tarik Place is above average, but nothing to shout about. The menu offers a wide variety of food, so I’m sure you’ll find something that suits your taste buds.

mi rebusMy verdict: 3stars
