From the Diary of an Almost 4-Year Old

Tomorrow the bandages will come off,
I wonder, will I see half an oven? Half an apple?
Half my mother’s face with my one remaining eye?
I did not see the bullet
But felt its pain exploding in my head.
his image did not disintegrate.
The soldier with his big gun and steady hands.
And the look in his eyes I could not understand.
I can see him so clearly with my eyes closed,
It could be that inside our heads.

We each have one spare set of eyes
To make up for the ones we lose.
Next month, on my birthday,
I’ll have a brand new glass eye
Maybe things will look round and fat at the middle.
I gaze through all my marbles,
They make the world look strange.

I hear a nine-month-old has also lost an eye,
I wonder if my soldier shot her too,
A soldier looking for little girls who look him in the eye.
I’m old enough, almost four,
I’ve seen enough of life
But she’s just a baby
Who didn’t know any better.

Palestine: 50 Years of Ethnic Cleansing and Disposession

Dr. Ismail Zayid gave this lecture at the Conference on Palestine in Vancouver, 23rd of May, 1998.

In 1998, while Israel celebrates the 50th anniversary of its creation on Palestinian land, for the Palestinians this is the 50th anniversary of the Palestinian “Nakba” (catastrophe).

The Palestine-Israel conflict is frequently described as a very complex one, and I want to submit before you that the problem is fundamentally a very simple one which was summed up, in the words of a simple Palestinian farmer in Jericho, quoted by the late Frank Epp, the then President of Conrad Grebel College of the University of Waterloo, who told Frank Epp:

“Our problem is very simple. A foreigner came and took our land, took our farms and our homes, and kicked us out. We have in mind to return. It may take a hundred years but we will return.”

This, in a nutshell, is the Palestine problem and the essence of this conflict. A country, Palestine, has been dismantled, its people uprooted from their homeland and replaced by an alien people gathered from all corners of the globe and a new state, Israel, created, in its place. This tragedy, and the ensuing conflict that brought about repeated wars in the Middle East is a direct outcome of the introduction of political Zionism into the Middle East.

Inevitably, some history is relevant here:

Rabbi Shapiro Reacts to Jerusalem Announcement

In depth analysis — Rabbi Yaakov Shapiro reacts to Jerusalem being declared the capital of Israel, and explains that the Jewish people relate to Jerusalem as a holy city, not as a political capital city. Jerusalem as the capital of the “Jews” is a Zionist fiction, and conflicts directly with the teachings of Judaism.

To all those countries considering moving their embassies, please know that this would only benefit Israel and the Zionists, and has no benefit to the Jewish people at large. Israel does NOT represent world Jewry.

Israeli Apartheid

This book starts with a definition of apartheid as specified in the International Convention on the Suppression and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid in UM General Assembly Resolution 3068. Then the author compares the similarities and differences between the apartheid policies in South Africa and Israel.

This book extensively documents Israel’s discriminatory policies against non-Jews — by-pass roads, land theft, illegal Jewish settlements (illegal according to international law), travel permission slips, checkpoints — to name just a few.

If you want to understand the root cause of the conflict in occupied Palestine, the first book I recommend you read is “The General’s Son” by Miko Peled. The second book I recommend you read is this book, which you can get from this store or that store.

When Children are Taught to Hate

Several times I heard people commented that Palestinians should stop teaching their children to hate. Watch these videos and see who is teaching their children to hate. They have to teach their children to hate because their entire existence depends on hating the other people they claim want all their people dead. They have to believe the other people are evil because that is the only way they can justify the persecution of another people.

The Girl Who Played with Fire

This is the second book in the Millenium Trilogy.

Mikael Blomkvist was working with Mia Johansson (a criminologist) and Dag Svensson (a journalist) to expose a sex trade ring that involved prominent people. Blomkvist found Johansson and Svensson shot dead in their apartment. The police found the murder weapon with Lisbeth Salander’s fingerprints on it. Shortly after, Bjurman, Salander’s guardian was also found dead in his apartment.

Salander was now wanted for three murders and the media was painting her as a psychotic lesbian with a troubled, violent past. The hunt for Salander was on.

People who knew Salander well — Blomkvist, Berger and Armansky — did not believe that Salander was responsible for the murders. While Salander hid at her safe house, they desperately tried to make sense of what happened. It was a race against time — if the police found Salander first, it would not end well.

Unknown to Blomkvist, Salander held the key to a puzzle that Johansson and Svensson were unable to solve. Salander had met with them shortly before they died. The information she shared with them was what led to their death.

The key that Salander held was a man called Zalachenko — the elusive mastermind behind the sex trade ring. The man who shaped Salander’s dark past.

This book is the key to understanding Salander’s past and what made her who she was. Get this book from this store or that store.

US’s Role in the Founding of Israel

People who are aware of the root of the Palestine-Israel conflict know about the role that UK played in the Balfour Declaration. However, I was, until recently, quite ignorant of the role USA played in the formation of Israel until I read “The Iron Curtain over America” by John Beaty.

I’m going to shamelessly plagiarise various sections of this book regarding this matter (re-writing them is going to be time consuming and I don’t have the time right now). If you’re unfamiliar with the history of Khazar and Judaism, please refer to “The Thirteenth Tribe”.

As a number of writers have pointed out, political Zionism entered its violent phase after the discovery of the incredibly vast mineral wealth of Palestine. According to “Zionist Misleading World with Untruths for Palestine Conquest,” a full page article inserted as an advertisement in the New York Herald-Tribune (January 14, 1947), “an independent Jewish state in Palestine was the only certain method by which Zionists could acquire complete control and outright ownership of the proven Five Trillion Dollar ($5,000,000,000,000) chemical and mineral wealth of the Dead Sea.” The long documented article is signed by R.M. Schoendorf, “Representative of Cooperating Americans of the Christian Faiths”, by Habib I. Katibah, “Representative of cooperating Americans of Arab Ancestry”; and by Benjamin H. Freedman, “Representative of Cooperating Americans of the Jewish Faith,” and is convincing. Irrespective, however, of the value of the Dead Sea minerals, the oil flow of Middle Eastern wells is something unbelievable to those familiar with slow-flowing American wells. Also in 1951, oil was “discovered” in the Negeb Desert, an area for the “Israeli” authorities has so much fervor that they seized it (See Chapter VI, b, below).
